What to do

  • Make sure you’ve eaten a healthy, filling meal and are well hydrated before your tattoo session.

  • Get a good night sleep the night before.

  • Take a shower before your appointment.  Your artist will be extremely close to you, so be courteous, and ensure that you are so fresh and so clean, clean...

  • Bring a beverage to keep you hydrated and happy.

  • Make sure you have an acceptable aftercare lotion prior to your appointment. Our recommendations are either Hustle Butter or virgin organic coconut oil. We strongly advise against using antibiotic ointments, or any petroleum-based products. We do not currently sell aftercare products in the studio.

  • Reschedule any time-sensitive plans you have for after your tattoo session. Your artist will not work against a deadline.

  • Inform your artist of ANY skin conditions, allergies, or other health concerns.

What not to do

  • Do NOT wear strong perfume or cologne. We gotta breathe.

  • Do NOT come to your appointment hungover. If you are hungover, you will be asked to leave, and you will forfeit your deposit.

  • Do NOT come to your appointment under the influence. Doing so will result in being asked to leave, and the forfeiture of your deposit.

  • Do NOT bring drugs into the studio unless they were prescribed to you by a doctor.

  • Do NOT assume your tattoo will take a certain amount of time unless your artist has explicitly given you a timeframe. Every artist is different, and works in their own way. We take our time to ensure a well done tattoo, and we will not work against a deadline.

  • Do NOT arrive early for your tattoo session. Right on time is good with us!

  • Do NOT photograph or video your tattoo session without the express permission of your artist.

  • Do NOT be afraid to communicate with your artist openly and honestly about the particulars of your tattoo design!

what to wear

It’s important to be comfortable. Loose clothes are preferred, as your artist needs complete access to the area of the body that will be tattooed . If there are specifics clothing requirements for your tattoo, your artist will be sure to give you specifics before your appointment.
